I TEACH 'REAL' SCIENCE - ONLNE

Learning about Science can be fun, or it can be boring! The teacher must bring the subject to life. Too often, students learn Science from pages in their text book, but never get the chance to see and take part in real-world experiments and lessons that show how theoretical topics relate to the world that we live in. That's especially true for home-schooled students.

 

My name is Simon Luttrell and I am British. I have a First Class Honours degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering. I also have a Masters degree in Space & Satellite Technology from University College London. I worked for 15 years in the satellite and telecoms industry as a designer and manager, followed by 14 years teaching Science and English at international schools in Asia. Now I only teach online, to bring real Science into your home. I'm a very approachable and patient teacher, and very popular with all my students whose age ranges from 6 to 16 years old. I'm a father of 2 daughters and 2 sons.

 

I am experienced in teaching Key Stage 2 and 3 Science, GCSE/IGCSE General Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, as well as ISEB 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. I have some international students who study the Singapore curriculum, Ohio and California curriculum. My teaching works! Most of my students are at primary grades, but I also have students who study college entrance. I usually teach on a 1-to-1 basis, although small group rates can be negotiated.
